These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the website iwantmodern.com and any services provided by I want MODERN, owned by sole proprietor Olga Grossenbacher in Switzerland.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services offered
We provide:
• Custom web design services
• VIP design intensives
• Branding add-ons
• Modern Sales Page Audits (including the $99 Modern Sales Page Audit™)
• Free and paid digital products such as masterclasses, checklists, and other training materials
• Digital resources
2. Payments & prepayment policy
Payment is accepted via:
• Stripe
• PayPal
• Credit card
• Direct bank transfer
Custom payment plans are available. A minimum of 30% non-refundable initial payment is required to reserve your project start date. The remaining balance will follow a mutually agreed schedule, typically split into 2–3 milestones.
Modern Sales Page Audit™ and digital products. Fees for the Modern Sales Page Audit™ and other digital products or trainings are due in full at the time of purchase and are non-refundable. If stated on the sales page, the audit fee may be credited toward a future website or sales page project booked within the specified timeframe.
3. Refunds & cancellations
Due to the custom nature of our work, all payments are non-refundable once the project begins. This includes prepayments unless otherwise stated in writing.
Clients may reschedule or pause projects once with written notice. Repeated rescheduling may result in a termination and loss of deposit.
4. Client responsibilities
Clients agree to:
• Communicate promptly
• Deliver required content by agreed deadlines
• Review and approve work within 3 business days
Delays in communication or missing materials may shift timelines or result in project pause.
5. Intellectual property
All design work—including visuals, layouts, and strategic structure—remains the intellectual property of I want MODERN until final payment is received.
Upon full payment:
• You receive a non-exclusive license to use the final website designs for your own business purposes.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or claim authorship of any design elements, frameworks, or components not explicitly licensed for such use.
• I want MODERN reserves the right to showcase your project in our portfolio, unless otherwise requested in writing.
For Limited Launch Offer Clients
If you are receiving services through the launch offer, your website will be fully custom-designed to reflect your brand, goals, and audience. However, select structural elements or layout patterns may be thoughtfully reused in future client work or internal templates. This approach allows us to offer you an exclusive 50% discount—while still delivering a high-converting, strategic, and visually distinctive website made just for you.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
• Use our website or services for illegal purposes
• Infringe on third-party copyrights
• Harass or abuse others
• Copy our website or offers
7. Limitation of liability
We provide services “as is.” We are not liable for indirect damages, profit loss, or third-party platform issues (e.g., Webflow, hosting providers).
8. Termination
We reserve the right to cancel services if:
• Payments are missed
• Communication is abusive
• Scope is violated
In such cases, all work is paused and unpaid balances remain due.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Lausanne, Switzerland.
10. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our website or services means you accept any changes.
11. Email communication & marketing consent
When you download a free resource (such as the Modern Sales Page Masterclass or checklist), request an audit, or otherwise submit your email address, you agree that I want MODERN may send you:
- Access to the resource you requested
- Occasional emails with education on websites, sales pages, and digital strategy
- Information about related products, services, and special offers
You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by contacting us directly. Your data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including EU and Swiss requirements where relevant.
